Every time we correct something wrong or make a meaningful update to Rose City Benefits, we log it here — in order, including the mistakes. See our corrections policy or read how we research and re-check what we publish.

• 2026-07-19 — New: Las 50 guías de programas ahora están disponibles en español en rosecitybenefits.org/es — con los mismos límites de ingresos, citas oficiales y datos de solicitud que las páginas en inglés. All 50 program guides are now available in Spanish.
• 2026-07-19 — Update: Every program guide now shows what applying is actually like — how you can apply (online, phone, paper, in person), the portal you'll use, documents to bring, and languages available — as at-a-glance chips on cards and guide pages.
• 2026-07-19 — Update: Added 25 more program guides (child tax credit, Pell Grant, Medicare Savings, Preschool for All, free legal aid, weatherization, Oregon ABLE and more — 50 guides total), turned all 11 life-event pages into step-by-step checklists with timelines, and published change-tracker pages for 2026 Oregon SNAP changes and 2026-2028 OHP changes.
• 2026-07-19 — Correction: CASH Oregon free tax help: income limit updated from $60,000 to $69,000 per the program's current published FAQ.
• 2026-07-19 — Correction: Corrected eligibility rules for 14 programs after auditing all 195 records against their cited sources: Portland Arts Tax exemption (the permanent exemption also requires being 70+ or disabled), CSFP senior food boxes (income requirement was missing), Oregon property-tax deferral (the $70,000 household income cap was missing), NAYA Elder Services (disability path needs age 56+), federal Child & Dependent Care Credit (was wrongly limited to parents — care of a disabled adult dependent also counts), breast & cervical cancer treatment coverage (250% income limit encoded), foster-youth program age cut-offs, WIC automatic eligibility via FDPIR, Senior Loneliness Line source citation, Ryan White financial-help income caps, and others.
• 2026-07-19 — Correction: Fixed income limits shown for programs based on state median income (Portland Water Bureau discount, PGE and Pacific Power discounts, LIHEAP, OEAP). These previously displayed a much lower limit derived from the federal poverty level — e.g. about $800/month for one person instead of the correct roughly $4,494/month for the Water Bureau discount.
• 2026-07-07 — Update: Site launched at rosecitybenefits.org with 195 cited programs.
