Help for immigrants and refugees in Oregon

Oregon covers more people regardless of immigration status than nearly any state. Healthier Oregon extends full OHP health coverage to adults who'd qualify except for status. Equity Corps provides free immigration lawyers. Refugee-specific cash and medical programs bridge the first years.

Many programs on this site never ask about status at all — and using them does not make you a public charge. When a program does consider status, its page says so.
