Food assistance in Oregon
Food help in Oregon comes in more forms than most people expect. SNAP puts money for groceries on an EBT card every month. WIC covers specific healthy foods for pregnant people and young kids. Schools feed kids free in many districts, and food banks hand out groceries with no paperwork at all.
Start with SNAP if your household income is under about twice the poverty line — it's the biggest program, and having it automatically opens the door to several others (discounted internet, utility help, free museum passes). If you need food today, the Oregon Food Bank network serves everyone, no questions asked.
Not sure which of these fit you? Answer a few questionsand we’ll rank all of them for your household.
